We had the privilege of undertaking a remarkable kitchen remodeling project in the heart of the Fairwood Neighborhood, where we had the opportunity to breathe new life into a custom dodecagon house. This unique home, designed by the owner's father, held sentimental value as the owner had spent countless hours assisting in its original construction.

The focal point of this renovation was the transformation of the kitchen's layout, where we converted the existing peninsula into a spacious island adorned with stunning Stardust-colored cabinets. Opting for maple frameless cabinets with a white interior, complemented by shaker-style doors finished in a crisp white exterior, we achieved a perfect blend of elegance and functionality. To add a touch of industrial chic, we incorporated Amerock Industrial Chic Rochdale knobs and pulls, further enhancing the aesthetic appeal.

For the countertops, we opted for Istmo Stone from Stix and Stones for the perimeter, while Blanco Orion was chosen for the island, striking a perfect balance between style and durability. The inclusion of soft-close hinges and glides, along with convenient accessories such as a lazy susan, tip-out tray, and a trash pullout, ensured seamless functionality tailored to the homeowner's needs.

To illuminate the space and create an inviting ambiance, we introduced a skylight and pendant lights, infusing the kitchen with warmth and character. Additionally, we took the opportunity to revitalize a unique, free-standing fireplace situated between the kitchen and office, embellishing it with exquisite tile and stone work to make it a standout feature.

To tie everything together seamlessly, we concluded the project by refinishing the existing floor, breathing new life into the space and ensuring a cohesive aesthetic throughout. This kitchen remodeling endeavor stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence and our passion for creating spaces that seamlessly blend style, functionality, and personal touches.
