Beautiful Kitchen Remodel in Lenexa, KS
Our team at Shawnee Mission Builders recently had the chance to perform this beautiful kitchen remodel for some of our customers in Lenexa. As you can see, we replaced all of their existing cabinets with brand new maple Woodland cabinets. The silver accents against the espresso wood color really make the cabinets pop, and also work to tastefully accent the new stainless steel farm sink we installed in the corner. We also replaced the old countertops with brand new ones from Silestone. Our customers chose to go with White Storm as their color of choice for their countertops as it works to create a pleasant contrast with their tile back splash. We then moved upwards, removing the popcorn ceiling and refinishing it with a knockdown texture, before we added a fresh paint to their walls to better contrast with the dark wood of the new cabinets. We then moved the refrigerator to the pantry wall, installed a freestanding gas range oven just to the right of the sink, and took out the existing island to make the space more open and inviting. We then brought it all together by replacing the old floors with new oak floors in a natural stain.
